The mark is meant to be used singly, never in a series, as part of a larger design, distorted or reversed. Any exceptions must be approved by the Graphic Standards Committee. Extreme reduction of the mark will cause a loss of detail in the letter serifs and hairline rules. It is recommended that the mark not be reduced smaller that 1 inch in diameter.
